Objetives

General Purpose

  • Contribute in the theoretical field of chemistry and its applications, the interdisciplinary foundations that allow to establish the fundamental role of chemistry in research projects of a pedagogical type in a specific disciplinary theme.
  • Propose research projects that link chemistry as the main fundamental pretext that requires different methodologies for innovate, giving new directions to the didactic of chemistry.
  • Develop theoretical-practical proposals in the field of pedagogy, chemistry, and its applications, where reliable results and analysis are managed to be used in new research projects.
  • Analyze the different results obtained from the research projects that allow to give indications of new dynamics regarding the pedagogical and strengthening the disciplinary.
  • Evaluate the performance of each research project, so that, it becomes a reference input for new projects and thus strengthen the lines of research.
  • Consider the contributions of each research project as a fundamental basis for research references in other fields of science and technology with a relevant pedagogical component.
  • Disseminate the intellectual products of each research project to become new local, district, national, and international references.

Specific Objetives

  • Design reflection scenarios regarding the research in chemistry and the didactics of chemistry that generate tools for the teaching and learning processes based on knowledge, generating an interest in approaching the sciences and their interrelation.
  • Develop research skills and competences in students in their initial formation.
  • Generate in teachers in formation the need to continue with postgraduate studies.
